Questions
Plain answers, in the order people ask them. Nothing here contradicts the checkout, because both were written from the same terms.
- 01 What exactly do I get for $499?
- A complete book-length first draft of your premise, at your chosen length up to 100,000 words, in one continuous voice, delivered by email as clean Markdown and a manuscript-formatted document. One payment, one manuscript, nothing recurring.
- 02 Is it really written by an AI?
- Yes, and we say so plainly. ACEPHALE is a multi-model AI pipeline: one model writes the prose scene by scene while a second plans structure, tracks continuity, and edits the assembled draft. The Method page describes the whole apparatus.
- 03 How long does delivery take?
- Your scope is confirmed within 48 hours of intake, and the manuscript is delivered within 7 days of completed intake.
- 04 What do I need to provide?
- Genre and target length (roughly 60,000, 80,000, or 100,000 words) at checkout, then your brief by email: the premise, plus whatever you have (an outline, characters, a chapter, a voice to match). The more you bring, the closer the render lands.
- 05 Who owns the manuscript?
- You do, outright and by contract: no retained rights, no license-back, no royalties, no credit requirement. The Deed page also explains the honest U.S. copyright picture for AI-generated drafts; it is worth reading before you buy from anyone.
- 06 Can I publish it under my own name?
- Yes: under your name, a pen name, or none. We never disclose commissions. We recommend publishing after your own revision pass, which is both what a first draft deserves and where the law recognizes your authorship.
- 07 Are revisions included?
- No. One commission produces one rendered first pass; revision is deliberately yours. We sell the hundred thousand words that have to exist before the real work of revision can begin, not a finished book, and we won't pretend otherwise.
- 08 What genres can it write?
- Any fiction your brief can specify. The pipeline has rendered literary fiction, gothic horror, political thriller, satire, fantasy, and romance. Published proof across genres is free to read in the 4worlds archive.
- 09 Does it cost anything beyond the $499?
- No. No subscription, no per-word fees, no royalties, no upsell required to receive your manuscript.
- 10 How do I know the pipeline can actually hold a whole book together?
- Read one. Complete manuscripts rendered end to end by this pipeline are published in full at 4worlds.dev/publishing, including a 90,000-word novel and a 14,594-word satire. The archive is the portfolio.
Longer answers live on The Method and The Deed; the published manuscripts are in the archive. If your question isn't here, write to [email protected].
